It was always a pleasure to sit and chat with her, she was truly a gentle lady and ever so proud of you both. I will treasure my memories of your Mom as I'm sure you have many. Condolence: So sad to hear of Carrie's passing. Mom(Bride Fynn) was also upset by the news. Carrie was a wonderful friend to Mom at Hollett's. She was always helping mom whenever she could. They spent many hours chatting and playing cards.Mom is now at Lakeside Home in Gander and constantly speaks of Carrie and how much she misses her. She was a great old friend of my Mother's when we lived on Crescent Heights years ago.
I enjoyed talking to her at Xmas, and especially appreciated her Xmas cards to us.
Roger, thanks for helping me keep in touch with her,because we had some fine chats and many laughs about the good family memories we all shared, on our phone calls and in our letters, over the past few years.
We shared many great stories of the characters who lived on Crescent Heights during the 1950ties.
Your Mother was a fine Christian woman and a wonderful human being with a big heart and a great sense of humour.I loved talking to her.
