MARJORIE DELPHINE BAILEY
1924 – 2016
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marjorie Delphine Bailey announce her passing with her daughter and son-in-law at her side on October 11, 2016 at the Green Bay Health Care Centre in Springdale at the age of 91. Marjorie was a member of the Grace United Church. She retired from Springdale Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Frederick; parents, Adolphus and Fanny Dove; brothers, Gerald and Ford. Left with fond and loving memories is her daughter Judy and son-in-law Stephen Chafe; sisters-Verda Dove and Cleo Gillard; sisters-in-law-Norma Dove of Springdale, Violet Bailey of Petley, Random Island and Beulah White (Frank) of Mt. Pearl; special niece Cathy Dove of Edmonton, Alberta. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Also affectionally known as “Nan Bailey” to Rick, Diane, Kiah and Tim Buchanan. Rev. Wilson Gonese will conduct the funeral service from the Grace United Church in Springdale on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at the United Cemetery. Pallbearers are David Gillard, Roger Dove, Clyde Dove, Steadman Clarke, Lloyd Weir and Clyde Thomas. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
